Know Before You Go

Location & Airlines

Many major airlines fly into Malé’ (MLE): Singapore, Emirates, Sri Lankan, Delta and Qatar Airways. There are many connecting flights from the US, the UK, Europe, Oceania.

Safety & COVID-19

Maldives is currently open for all Nationalities. It is also one of the only tourist destinations that invited tourists from 2020. Naturally Isolated Island Resorts and Local Islands create their own bubble encouraging more travelers to feel safer in Maldives.

Passports & Visa Documentation

Tourist Visa is granted for all Nationalities on arrival to Maldives. As such, a foreigner travelling to Maldives as a tourist does not require pre-approval. (Maldives Immigration)

Check-Out

Once checked out from the tourist facility, generally the tourist facility arranges transfers via Airplane, Speed Launch or Vehicles for the travellers to get to the airport on a timely manner.

Arrival/Boarding/ Departure

Each itinerary has a different embark/disembark island/port/atoll depending on the itinerary you are traveling on. Domestic flights, Seaplanes or Speed-launches may be involved prior and post your charter.

Prohibited

Customs Authority in Maldives does not allow Alcoholic Beverages, Pork and Pork related items & Dogs to be brought to the Maldives. Designated Bikini Beaches are assigned for Travelers in Local inhabited Islands.
